Karen & Gary Milhous
visited Arizona with clients in 2004 and they were SOLD - on the home values,
the people & the lifestyle. Originally from Rockford, Illinois, Karen moved
to Arcadia, California, as a teen. After marrying, she & Gary settled in the
Thousand Oaks area of Ventura County where they were close to family and
enjoyed raising their two sons. Since relocating to AZ, Karen has immersed
herself in the Phoenix West Valley where she volunteers for various non-profit
special events, community leadership groups, at her church and enjoys all that
the Valley of the Sun offers. There’s much to take advantage of with special
events and museums and food flavors! In their community of Verrado, Karen is
the founder and organizer of the ‘We Heart Christmas’ Annual Home Tour. Several
decked out homes are open to the community and funds are raised for local
non-profits.
As a licensed Realtor in California for 15 years and now licensed in Arizona, Karen has many experiences on which she has honed her skills. With energy and enthusiasm Karen is committed to working together with her clients to achieve their goals in buying or selling homes. As attested by her many satisfied previous clients, who are frequent sources of referrals, she works hard to make transactions go smoothly and successfully for all the parties. Her husband Gary is also a Realtor® in California with +30 years of experience in Ventura County and the San Fernando Valley area.
Prior to Real Estate, Karen owned a large decorative art store for almost 20 years. During this time, she honed her management, communication and problem solving skills, all of which she utilizes in her Real Estate career. Still an avid artist and art quilter, her design skills are found to be an added benefit in staging homes for sale and envisioning potential for purchases.
When not busy helping clients, Karen and Gary enjoy traveling and spending time with their two sons and DILs, and of course - the wonderful grands.
